Job Overview:
Allvital is looking for a skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. This role is essential in managing procurement and inventory processes while contributing to product development. You will work closely with manufacturers, oversee quality standards, and ensure our products meet regulatory requirements. Your expertise will help us maintain our high standards and bring innovative health products to our customers. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Oversee and manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of all necessary products and ingredients.
  • Procurement Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Supplier Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers to ensure reliable, quality supply chains.
  • Product Development and Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis on food supplements, propose innovative product ideas, and enhance existing formulas.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Review raw material and product specifications to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements for safety and quality.
  • Quality Management System (QMS): Develop, implement, and monitor a Quality Management System according to the ISO 22000 standard, ensuring compliance with industry best practices. 
Qualifications:
  • Education: M.Sc. in Food Technology, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
  • Additional Expertise: Further qualifications in orthomolecular science are a plus.
  • Experience: 2-5 years in procurement or supply chain management, ideally with experience in developing and launching food supplements.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficient in Food Hygiene standards, HACCP systems, and European regulatory requirements for food supplements.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Dutch and English is required; knowledge of German is advantageous.

  • Work Arrangement: Part-time, 32 hours per week.
