Amino acids are the building blocks of all proteins and therefore invaluable for the structure and function of our bodies. Eight of the 20 amino acids involved in protein production are essential amino acids and cannot be produced by the body itself but must be supplied with food. However, a large amount of the amino acids supplied with food are only used for energy supply.
Amino 8 contains all eight essential amino acids in a carefully balanced combination. Due to the special ratio, the amino acids are almost exclusively used in protein synthesis and are not broken down in energy metabolism, in contrast to proteins taken in with food.
There is an increased need for (essential) amino acids especially in children and babies, pregnant women, athletes, and in old age, as well as during prolonged stress or in vegetarian/vegan diets.
