NADH (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide hydride) is a coenzyme and the active or reduced form of NAD. NADH is also called coenzyme 1 and is present in every human, animal and plant cell. NADH can be produced by the body itself, provided that essential building materials such as vitamin B3 are sufficiently available. With increasing age, the production of NADH and the content of NADH in the tissue naturally decreases.
NADH Coenzyme 1 contains 10 mg NADH per capsule. NADH is provided with a double oxidation protection in the capsule so that it cannot be prematurely oxidised or broken down in the digestive tract.
