Strong immune system with Immune Power Up

Strong immune system with Immune Power Up

Our new product, Immune Power Up, combines various vital nutrients to support immune function. Discover everything you need to know about the product and when its use is recommended.

Why should you actively support your immune system?

Our immune system has many roles, including protecting the body from various pathogens like viruses, bacteria, and parasites, removing damaged or abnormal cells, regulating inflammation, and aiding tissue repair.

For these tasks to be performed efficiently, the immune system requires a wide variety of vital nutrients in sufficient amounts. A deficiency in these substances weakens our defenses.

In today’s world, we are exposed to numerous environmental toxins and pathogens due to globalization and industrialization. Many people also lead stressful lives filled with unhealthy habits like poor diets, lack of exercise, and inadequate sleep. These factors are known to weaken the immune system and increase the body's need for vital nutrients.

At the same time, our food is becoming increasingly nutrient-poor. To compensate for this deficit and ensure that the immune system and the rest of the body receive sufficient micronutrients, it is advisable to take targeted supplements.

Do you only need to strengthen your immune system in winter?

The immune system faces several challenges during winter, such as the cold weather, dry heating air (which dries out mucous membranes and makes them more susceptible to infections), the increased prevalence of colds, and the lack of sunlight, which reduces vitamin D production.

It makes sense to focus on supporting the immune system during the darker months, but what about the rest of the year?

The harmful factors mentioned earlier persist year-round, so supporting the immune system is important throughout the year.

Additionally, certain life situations, not just the time of year or the exposure to environmental toxins, play a crucial role. For example, the immune system needs special support during stressful periods, such as moving or changing jobs, during and after illnesses and injuries, and in older individuals.

New product: Immune Power Up

Immune Power Up combines various plant extracts, vitamins, and trace elements specifically formulated to strengthen the immune system. The dosages are based on current scientific knowledge and holistic medical practice.

Our new product replaces the previous products, Immune Complex and Green Tea Complex. Immune Power Up is an improved formula with additional ingredients and adjusted dosages.

Vital nutrients for a strong immune system

Below, we introduce the ingredients in Immune Power Up and explain how they support healthy immune function and protect the body from harmful influences.

Green tea extract

Green tea contains polyphenols and other valuable plant compounds, such as the well-researched EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate). Polyphenols are known for their antioxidant properties, which protect our cells from free radicals. In our blog “Polyphenols - for an extra portion of superfood” you will find detailed information on these plant substances.

The green tea extract in Immune Power Up is concentrated to about 98 % polyphenols, including 50 % EGCG, and is also rich in various minerals and trace elements.

Rhodiola

Rhodiola (Rhodiola rosea) is an adaptogenic plant, which grows in extreme climates. In naturopathy, adaptogens are used to enhance the body's resistance to stress and other pressures and to help restore balance.

Quercetin

Quercetin, a yellow plant pigment, is another polyphenol found abundantly in capers and lovage. Quercetin protects plants from oxidative stress and is widely used in herbal medicine.

Turmeric

Curcumin is a yellow-orange pigment and the main active compound in turmeric. It is known for its antioxidant and immune-boosting properties.

Black pepper extract

Immune Power Up also contains black pepper extract, standardized to at least 95 % piperine. Piperine, responsible for the pepper’s spiciness, is used in herbal medicine to support digestion and enhance nutrient absorption. Studies show that piperine can increase the bioavailability of curcumin by a factor of 2000 (1).

Grape seed extract

Grape seed extract contains valuable secondary plant compounds like OPC (oligomeric proanthocyanidins), another polyphenol. OPC protects plants from oxidative stress, environmental influences, and pathogens.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is well known for its immune-boosting and antioxidant effects. It also supports iron absorption, strengthens connective tissue, and contributes to normal energy metabolism.

Immune Power Up includes vitamin C from three natural sources to ensure optimal bioavailability.

Other ingredients

Immune Power Up also contains:

  • Vitamin B6
  • Vitamin A
  • Vitamin D3
  • Zinc
  • Selenium
  • Copper

These vital nutrients are essential for healthy immune function and also have many other functions in the human body. The three trace elements zinc, selenium and copper, like vitamin C, protect the body from oxidative stress.

How should you take Immune Power Up?

Immune Power Up can be taken at any time of the day. It should be taken with meals and not on an empty stomach.

We recommend 1 capsule per day as a maintenance dose for long-term use. In phases of increased physical or emotional stress, the daily dose can be increased to up to 4 capsules. The dose of 8 capsules should not be exceeded, as each capsule contains 100 mg EGCG and the maximum recommended intake for this ingredient is 800 mg per day.

Who can benefit from Immune Power Up?

Immune Power Up is suitable for all adults who want to specifically support their immune system. However, due to the green tea extract it contains, the product is not suitable for children under the age of 18 or for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
