Linoleic acid

Double unsaturated essential fatty acid that belongs to the group of omega-6 fatty acids. Base substance for GLA, DGLA and arachidonic acid. Replacing saturated fats with mono and/or polyunsaturated fatty acids in the diet helps maintain normal cholesterol levels in the blood.
